Roy Creek

Summary:  Roy Creek, a tributary of the Nehalem River, has at least 2.5 miles of high quality spawning and rearing habitat for Coho and other salmonids.

This creek was blocked by a culvert crossing under Foss Road and the Port of Tillamook Bay Railroad, near the mouth.  The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has rated the replacement of the Roy Creek/Foss Road crossing as one of the highest priority restoration projects in Tillamook County.

Partners are currently working with an engineering firm to survey the reach and complete design for future implementation efforts.
